jb Palasini

  Working predominantly in acrylics, jb continues an ongoing exploration of the human form, flora and fauna, and universal themes. Most of her works are figurative with components of nature. She is intrigued by texture, contrast, and balance, and utilizes different techniques to achieve a result that is layered and full of color and light.

  jb Palasini grew up on a farm and in the woods of the Mississippi Delta and Southern Mississippi. jb received a B.F.A. with an emphasis in painting from the University of Mississippi in 2000. She spent 5 years based in Atlanta, working as a full-time artist, muralist, and faux finisher on projects all over the country. jb moved to Southern Oregon in 2005 and currently resides in the Applegate Valley.
